Data Engineer

For one of my clients in the financial sector I’m looking for a Data Engineer.

Organization

It is an international company with its headquarters in Amsterdam. The company invests in overseas projects and is expanding internationally. It has a dynamic environment and a modern tech department. With a new vision in strategy, the company is expected to make large steps and have more insights in terms of technology.

Function

As a Data Engineer you will work in a team of five Engineers. It is an Agile way of working and English is the main Language. You have strong Engineering skills and knowledge of Cloud environments. Furthermore, you have knowledge of several programming languages and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka or NiFi. You are a communicative team player who can help a Junior Data Engineer. You will also be responsible for developing a multi-cloud data platform.

Function requirements

• Relevant experience as a Data Engineer

• Cloud knowledge

• Java/Scala/Python

• Hadoop, Spark, Kafka and/or NiFi

• Communicative

• Fluent in English

• Project of 12 months

• 32-40 hours per week
