Infrastructure Engineer (Redhat Linux)

My client is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to start as soon as possible to work with a global client on a long term project.

Linux Required Skills

• Extensive work experience in IT in a business work environment (at least 5 years);

• Linux (Red Hat Enterprise) work experience. (minimum 5 years)

•Experience with building and working with containers (minimum 2 years and setting up an environment)

• Extensive experience with Linux and web security methodologies (minimum 3 years);

• Knowledge of and experience with at least three of the following (minimum 1 year)

o Network knowledge (DNS, firewalling, TCP / IP) o Databases (including MySQL, Postgres)
o Configuration of monitoring tools & dashboards (Zabbix, Graphana)
o Version control systems (eg GIT)
o Web services (Apache, JBoss)

• Mastered shell scripting (able to follow various scripting languages such as Perl and Python)

Nice to have skills

Education • HBO level;

• Red Hat Certified Engineer

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Openshift Administration of Certified Kubernetes Administrator
