Data Engineer/Software Engineer

Introduction

For one of my clients in Amersfoort, I’m looking for an experienced Data Engineer.

Organization

This commercial company is heavily investing in their IT department and in moving to a Cloud environment. The company has a state-of-the-art environment, offers flexibility and room for personal growth. It is an international environment with a relaxed work atmosphere.

Function

As a Data Engineer you will work in a team of six Data/Software Engineers who are responsible for developing data pipelines, ETL and designing technical solutions. You have knowledge of Python, Spark, SQL and have experience in an AWS environment. You are a communicative person who is eager to learn and who can come up with new initiatives. Knowledge of Airflow, Snowflake and Data Science is beneficial. Furthermore, the team is also investing in predictive analytics and building new software solutions.

Function requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data/Software Engineer

• Knowledge of ETL and data pipelines

• Knowledge of SQL and Python

• Experience in an AWS environment

• Knowledge of Spark

• Eager to learn

• Communicative person
