Omschrijving / De opdracht

Imagine that what you work on every day is responsible for seven million customers using the digital banking affairs. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be helping to build web applications that make high performance digital banking possible worldwide. Rabobank is one of the largest IT employers in the Netherlands.

Create an impact

You will be working within an independent team, focusing on the monitoring and raising of performance and security across other agile teams helping them to develop and manage high performing applications used both within and outside of Rabobank.

As a software engineer, you contribute to performance test automation of the bank and will be the driving force behind developments while transitioning towards cloud solutions.

Working together as a team within the Performance Competence Center is highly important part within your working day. In addition, it’s important that you will recognize yourself in the following checklist:

• We expect that you have at least seven years' experience with JEE and the use of application servers.

• Strong skills in software development.

• Good knowledge of Java including the Spring framework.

• Experience in design and development of complex, secure and high-performance applications.

• Experience in Agile

• Knowledge of JSON, REST, web-services.

• Knowledge of Event Driven architecture

• Knowledge of Docker

• Familiarity with tools like: Azure DevOps, Sonar, Maven, Nexus and are able to configure these tools.

• Fluent English

• Above all you do have an opinion and an open view on the future

• You embrace changes and self-leadership is in your DNA!
