Reporting to the Project Manager Release Management (RM) with oversight to the Configuartion Manager, this role’s primary focus on defining and implementing an automated, repeatable and auditable release management process in line with their standards.

Responsibilities will include

• Create a shared vision and best practices for a new Release Management process

• Work out the new process in detail (including roles & responsibilities)

• Ensure that there is a base within the organisation to adopt the new way of working.

• Implement the new way of working within the organisation.

• Work closely with stakeholders.

The job holder will act as a point of liaison between the DevOps teams and the project team that automates the release management process and has a strong ability to drive change within the organisation.
The individual is expected to bring their expertise in Release Management methodologies and drive the Release Management function forward to improve efficiency and repeatability through the delivery of process and efficiency improvement. They will need a good understanding of Release Management tools.

What we are looking for

Experience implementing a new release management process
Thorough understanding of Release Management methodology, values, practices and procedures.
Experience with Microsoft TFS / Visual Studio Team Systems (Pré)
