Workplace Specialist/System Engineer

For one of the largest clients, I am seeking for a 'Workplace Specialist/System Engineer' for a 6-12 month cntract in Den Haag, Netherlands

Job description

We are looking for a Workplace specialist 3rd line who can be widely deployed within the Team OPS / DEV team. The candidate in question must at least meet the set hard requirements as indicated to be able to be deployed directly on projects and in line. The candidate must be able to perform under very high pressure. The candidate must be able to apply ready knowledge and experience directly in practice. It is therefore expected that the candidate can start working independently immediately. The workplace specialist is deployed for: Construction & Management of the work environment in large customer environments approx. 50,000 workplaces & devices with expertise from Ivanti Workspace manager and Automation Manager, Citrix, SCCM and Microsoft applications (on premise & Cloud). The black point of the assignment is management. Tasks: - Live Citrix images - Trouble shoot Citrix, Ivanti and SCCM issues - Create, deploy, and maintain (PowerShell) Scripts - Proactive management, implementation of changes, incident handling in the work areas Citrix, Ivanti and SCCM

Background Assignment
WORK ENVIRONMENT The busy work of the current workplace specialist 3rd line for both projects and management makes the deployment of a specialist necessary. In consultation between the Workplace specialist 3rd line and infrastructure specialist, agreements are made for the division of tasks and responsibilities. THE DEPARTMENT / Team the Workplace specialist 3rd line is positioned within the OPS / DEV team. In addition, the Workplace specialist 3rd line is also seconded to one or more projects under the supervision of a project manager. Depending on the tasks for which the workplace specialist is deployed, he is accountable to the Team Manager OPS / DEV or project leader.

Other required knowledge areas

• Certified in Citrix

Experience

• Experience in managing large comparable complex workplace environments (5 yrs)

• Work experience in the field of Ivanti (WM & AM) or in the field of SCCM / MECM is an advantage (3 yrs)

• Work experience in the field of Citrix (3 yrs)
