DevOps Engineer

For this international, well-known organization and also a client of Quades, I am looking for a Freelance (AWS) DevOps Engineer.

Organization

They work internationally; the office in Belgium is an important part of the organization since they are responsible for the European daily logistics. Also, a big part of the e-commerce and data department is located at this office. Those departments are well-respected and well-funded to stay innovating and to stay ahead of competition. The atmosphere in the department is dynamic and informal. They are flexible in terms of work weeks and possible work from home. The office is easily accessible and there is sufficient free parking space. For now, they are working fully remote.

Information

As a Freelance (AWS) DevOps Engineer you will work in a data department. You are responsible for supporting the teams on the platform and your focus is on IT Infrastructure, maintaining environment and take care of Security and Compliance. You will provide CI/CD solutions and Agile applications. As well as providing AWS infrastructure for these applications. You assist the team in moving applications to AWS, using an IaC pipeline. This platform will be highly available. You automate as much as possible and work closely with your colleagues within different verticals.

Requirements

• Relevant working experience

• Experience with AWS Cloud

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD

• Experience with Spark, Airflow and/or similar is a beneficial

Offer

• Contracts of 3-6 months

• Extensions are almost certain

• 40 till 32 hours a week

• 100% remote
