Frontend Developer (React)

For one of the greatest platforms in the Netherlands we’re looking for a React Developer. They build complex technical software applications. As a developer you will mainly work on building new functionalities and improving the software.

About the job
The software is built iteratively and based on empiricism. That’s why they expect you to be continuously searching for the most efficient way of building software to prove ideas, and know how to harden these successful outcomes into a performant architecture that is scalable. Using technologies such as React, Next.js and TypeScript, together with your team you'll provide a user experience that is top-notch. While working on the platforms your main tasks will be:

building new functionalities and components, and ensuring code stability with unit- and end-to-end tests
architect, design, develop and deploy services that serve millions of users in a DevOps manner
be proactive in learning and preparation

Job requirements
You have solid experience with React, Next.js, Angular, TypeScript, Flow and CSS-in-JS
Experience with side effect management, modern testing and build tools
You have experience in a BDD way and have good knowledge of design patterns
Experience with gRPC, Gradle, Jenkins, Node.js, Fastify, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Grafana, Kibana, Sentry, BrowserStack is a plus
You are a team player with good communication skill in Dutch and English.
