Data Engineer

For this interesting relation i am searching for a Data Engineer with streaming data experience.

This company is a well-known name in the logistic sector. The company’s mission is to make sure their clients are always up to date about all the developments, and that they get what they need as soon as possible. To make sure they achieve their mission, the company is investing a lot in their customer care, but foremost in their data driven way of working.

Function

As a Data Engineer your main task is to collect data out of many different sources, and make sure that it is accessible for other stakeholders. You and the team you are working with will be responsible for the cloud-based data-platform. Data streaming devices are used in the process, therefor you will have to build real time data pipelines. The team consists of 4 other Data Engineers and 3 Data Scientist. Part of the project will be to review the codes of your colleagues, as they will review yours.

Function-requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer

• Knowledge of AWS/Azure

• Knowledge of Python/R

• Knowledge of Kafka

• Knowledge of Airflow

• Team player

Offered

• One year contract

• 36-40 hours a week (discussable)
