Data Warehouse designer / Delivery lead

We are looking for a Data Warehouse designer / Delivery lead that will work in two projects for a client. A project on customer Analytics and a project on HR analytics.

In these projects you act as a data solution designer, where you develop the design of a simple data warehouse solution and the datamodels behind power PB dashboards. You manage the developers in the offshore development team to deliver the solution and align on the requirements with the business representatives.
Their Global Finance Data Warehouse is built with Microsoft technology on their Azure data platform, and the client uses PowerBI as data visualisation tool.

Role description

1. Create a global data model that accommodates the requirements of the customer analytics dashboards.

2. Align with SMEs in the BU on mapping the BU data to the global data model.

3. Work with BUs on how their data can be ingested on the Global data platform.

4. Develop the design of a simple datawarehouse on HR data.

5. Responsible for the delivery of the solutions in their offshore team.

Qualification

1. Deep understanding of data warehouse design and data modelling.

2. Knowledge of the Azure technology (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Power BI).

3. Requirement engineering skills: able work with users and other stakeholders to workout solid requirements.

4. Communication skills: Easy communicator in an international setting.

5. Experience with leading offshore resources.
