Senior data analyst

Both Back- and front-end BI development

Power BI integration: Setup of Power BI in coherence with Data framework (Google Cloud) for analytics capabilities and guarantee availability of data and insights. Create datasets and load datamarts.

Power BI Dashboard development and support of self-service: Design, Development, deployment and maintenance of captivating dashboards with custom visualization, intuitive navigation with scheduled refresh with data sets, report sharing, enable self-service and streamline data consumption.

Other hands on activities

• Assist in retrieving requirement.

• Writing technical and / or functional designs

• Performing data analysis; Performing system tests

• Developing screens and creating scripts.

Requirements

• Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc.

• A business intelligence developer with extensive experience with primarily PowerBI, and secondarily with bi-tools such as Qlikview/QlikSense or Cognos.

• An academic working and thinking level and at least an HBO diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science or comparable.

• Good communicative skills and a proactive attitude

• Good analytical skills, critical and a creative thinker

• Good command of the English language

• Enjoy working in cross functional agile (DevOps) teams and together with customers.

• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing and databases is required.

• Technical knowledge of the combination of Google Cloud Platform and MS Azure Cloud Platform is a plus.

• Affinity with the primary processes of retail and trade organizations (logistics) is a plus.

• Used to work with applications like JIRA/ Confluence

Three most important things

1. Experience with BI tools, especially Power BI
