Tester

Wwe are looking for a Tester who will do the hands-on technical testing for the Rental project.

Team

The ACAMO team is focused on implementing a new system for performing credit checks on companies requesting lease contracts. This involves the implementation of a new credit assessment system, a new workflow management system, a new document management system and a new data lake.

Project description

The ACAMO Project entails implementing the assessment of the credit risk of prospect Athlon customers and existing customers for whom a financial loan is taken for lease, rental or other financial contract and services. The credit risk assessment will be based on a combination of internal credit history data (such as late payment arrears as recorded in the Athlon financial accounting systems of the concerned countries), and external credit agency reports assessing the credit risk profile of a customer. The prime objective of the project is to provide a generic component in the Athlon application landscape for all current and future Athlon countries with the necessary credit risk assessment instruments for concluding and adjusting financial contracts, including automated scoring and manual Underwriting.

Role of Tester

The tester will be responsible for executing system tests, SIT, performance and load test, regression tests and disaster recovery tests. The UAT per country is executed and guided by the BA team, which will be in the lead for this part with the testers in a supporting role. The testers are expected to execute the tests according to the test strategy formulated by the test manager. As a final responsibility the testers will help the project manager in bringing the application(s) into Production.

Tasks

• Executing System-/System Integration tests.

• Securing and transfer of knowledge.

• Provide support in the further defining and clarification of requirements.

• Maintenance of the testing environments

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders

• Report on progress of all test activities cross the project workstreams.

Responsibilities

• At least 5 years of experience as a tester;

• A minimum of 3 years of validatable experience in defining, coordinating and executing system tests, functional tests and acceptance tests in different environments;

• Experience in creating test reports;

• Experience with performance testing, stress/load testing, integration testing and chain testing;

• Experience with quality assurance processes and defect tracking;

• Experience with tooling: Jira, Confluence, T-MAP, Slack, Teams;

• Knowledge of Agile methodology (SCRUM) and Waterfall methodology (Prince2);

• Fluent in English;

• HBO working and thinking level;

Duration: until the end of June '21 and expected to be continued beyond (contracts at Athlon are on a 3 month basis)

Hours: 36 to 40 hours (40 preferably)

Location: headquarters are located in Almere, but due to corona working mainly from home for now.
