Tender writer – English native language

WHAT DO YOU DO?
You will write a proposal/tender in English, your native language, for one of our clients: a big accountancy company. Your deadline is September 8th. The client will first write the tender themselves (in English), which will be technically accurate but lacking flair, momentum, and persuasiveness. This is where you come in. Your task is to make it shine: edit it with a fresh perspective, creatively rephrase the content, and ensure it fits the required length. You will also check – to the best of your ability as a non-accountant – if all the questions in the Request for Proposal have been addressed. This requires precision, clarity, and completeness, which are far more important than simply boasting about ‘how good we are’.

Our designer will then transform it into a stunning tender that looks and feels amazing. Of course, everything will be done in collaboration with the client, so you will incorporate their corrections and suggestions into the final version. You are encouraged to leave your mark because you know what works (and what doesn't).

When significant amounts are involved, we are given the green light to go the extra mile. This may include developing (together with the designer) a surprising teaser that brings a smile to the faces of the prospect. Or coming up with a unique approach that gives the tender more impact.

WHAT DO YOU BRING?
You have a bachelor's or master's degree. Experience in writing tenders is a plus, but not a requirement, as the client will ensure the technical aspects related to accounting are covered. It is important that you can think conceptually. Having an affinity for accountancy and/or the financial world will be beneficial. And you are accustomed to writing for B2B audiences as a copywriter, content writer, and/or corporate journalist. English is your native language, and you speak/read (a little) Dutch.

You are a free thinker with a sharp and flexible writing style. You enjoy winning these kinds of competitions. Our office is located in the eastern part of the country (near Arnhem), but the location of your desk is less relevant (Long Live Teams). However, if you are nearby, it would be convenient for occasional brainstorming sessions.

WHO WE ARE?
Our agency consists of 1 copywriter and 1 designer, with a combined experience of 60+ years (we may not be young, but we're still vibrant). We assist companies in creating winning tenders. Our expertise extends beyond the field of accountancy and includes sectors such as construction and office/school furniture.
