Your profile

• Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent

• 3-5 years relevant work experience (knowlage of reconciliations and intellimatch (ING is using intellimatch)

• Strong knowledge of Financial Markets products, fms knowlage/ fixed income/ dirivaten and securities .

• (Financial) reconciliation experience

• Strong in written and spoken English must

• Lean experience

The position
As Operations Control Officer you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the whole ‘Operations Control’ chain to help ensure Operational Excellence for Operations WRR. You do so by executing a wide range of reconciliations, investigating root causes for breaks and ensuring these breaks get resolved by the relevant departments and manage incoming and outgoing claims from/to counterparties.
With your broad knowledge of the WRR domain you are able to manage complex dossiers from beginning to end in close consultation with stakeholders. Furthermore you provide and develop relevant management information to stakeholders and management.
The Senior Operations Control Officer will be responsible for coordination/team planning and actively monitors agreements made with customers/stakeholders.

You are constantly dealing with exceptions; deviations from what was expected. Therefore we are looking for candidates who enjoy to take ownership and whose natural tendency is to keep on looking for opportunities to improve themselves, the department and the broad range of processes you are involved in.
The Operations Control Officer is a newly created function following the merger of the Operations Control Reconciliations, Claim&Error management and Financial Markets Investigations teams as per December 1st 2016. As such you will be given the opportunity to help build the newly formed teams.

Our department
Operations Control is responsible for overseeing timely and correct booking and settlement of Financial Markets and Corporate Banking Services transactions. We execute a wide range of reconciliations for the Rabobank Group worldwide and investigate the root causes of differences stemming from these reconciliations. The department has a well-established and strong position within Operations WRR. The merger as described above has resulted in two Operations Control teams equal in size and task focus. We are looking for suitable candidates in both teams.

The department focuses on managing a highly efficient process flow whilst managing and minimizing operational risks delivering excellent service to our clients.
