Interim Sourcing Manager IT

GSO IT
Our office in Zaandam, the Netherlands, is the home base for the Global Support Office, consisting of various support functions that help to further build Ahold Delhaize’s great local brands. One of these functions is the global IT sourcing department. The department is responsible for supporting in getting right requirements, selecting right partner, negotiating best in class deals for the organization.

Role
> Responsible for establishing and executing the process for the selection, ordering and procurement of preferred contractor vendors.
-Provide leadership and oversight for IT spend/projects/vendors with a goal of lowering total cost of ownership for our company.
-Manages and balance needs between quality, cost, service, and innovation.
> Works with stakeholder to establish a plan for sourcing initiates, vendor negotiations, vendor relationship and processes for the handling of IT sourcing initiatives within the organization.
> Seek out new opportunities to improve in each of these areas as an agent of change.
> Ensure that stakeholders has an understanding of the sourcing/negotiation strategy and how it can be applied to optimize the development and implementation of its strategies and lowest costs.
> Identify new potential partners - Stay current with the business and technology worlds to ensure awareness of potential business liaisons.
> Lead the negotiations in the establishment of sourcing partners. This includes creating a contractual relationship with the partner.
> Assist with the strategy for the creation and management of vendor scorecards.
> This position will collaborate with Senior Management and work with the Director, VP owners of the spend to obtain support and approvals to build teams of business stakeholder representatives and move forward with sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

You have

> A minimum of +5 yrs experience in Sourcing IT roles
> Strong Negotiation skills
> IT category/contracting background
> Strong analytical skills
> Strategic Planning
> Attention to detail
> Strong stakeholder management/relationship building skills
> Excellent influencing/persuation skills

As a person you also have

> Strong analytical skills, broad interests and intrinsic curiosity,
> The ability to communicate fluent in English. Ability to communicate in Dutch is a plus.
> The ability to work independent and the sensitivity to work with different stakeholders.
> Customer focus & Self starter/Initiative

It helps if you understand a large and complex organizational structure and have strong intuition to work with many different functions and stakeholders.

Details

Duration of assignment: Estimated 4-6 months, contract renewal per 3 months

32- 40 hours per week

Rate: 100 euro per hour
