Interim Product Manager

Client is looking for an Interim Product Manager to join our IT team, our chosen candidate would work at our global retail client, located in Hilversum.

We need a strong interim Product Manager with experience working in an agile environment, who’s focus will be to deliver the right solution to our client’s internal end-users with the highest quality and shortest lead time. In partnership you will drive Tech Product Applications and will be responsible for its strategy, roadmap, and feature definition.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate Program vision and roadmap; ensure alignment to company strategies.

• Work with stakeholders to define Product features

• Defines Jira Epics, manage and prioritize the backlog on an ongoing basis

• Collaborates with development teams breaking the Epics into User stories

• Understand current and future customer needs, define features, determine success and acceptance criteria, validate solution, and evaluate customer satisfaction

• Ensure development teams have the full context and understanding of customers and business environment to create valuable solutions

• Analyze and communicate customer adoption, performance, time to market, quality and other metrics to stakeholders

• Contributes to organization Product Community of Practice

Skills

• Multi-year experience with Business Model Canvas creation, user journey’s, empathy maps, short learning loops and product development in collaboration with
  development teams

• Advanced understanding of the Agile principles and methodologies

• Able to solve complex problems

• Learning ability absorbing business processes and how product portfolio contributes to these processes

• Effective collaboration and relationship management

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others within Technology and other functions

• Experience resolving issues with higher levels of management

• Proven ability to respond to and prioritize changing demands effectively

• Ability to anticipate changing customer needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree

• Experience working with Agile teams and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, Jira and Confluence preferred

• Experience with Agile framework Scrum, and principles of Scaled Agile methodologies

Additional information

Hours per week: 32 ( 4 days)
Project duration: 6 months with expectation of extension.
