UX Designer

For the Product Management Team of one of our clients we are looking for a Medior to Senior level UX Designer to start on short-term basis. The client has several offices across the country, but due to the corona crisis, you are able to work remotely for the foreseeable future.

As a User Experience (UX) Designer, delivering high-quality interaction design is your daily goal. You do this on the basis of insights and research. With your work you ensure that our customers and users experience our services and products as unique, usable, reliable and friendly. You give advice to colleagues and external suppliers in the field of development and optimization of the User Experience. You provide research, concept and design of and for digital services and products. You are part of the “Design segment” of the company and are therefore jointly responsible for the brand and the (brand) experience.

You work with both internal designers and “business stakeholders” and you manage external parties. You define quality criteria for the UX of online product types and components, at the level of content, navigation, visual design and (front-end) development. You prepare plans and scripts for the validation of UX concepts and designs and for user research for realized services and products. Together with Product Management you monitor the entire life cycle of these services and products.

Your profile:

• HBO + working and thinking level

• Agile mindset

• Researcher of the user

• Proficient with prototyping tools such as Sketch and Invision

• Has experience in setting up and working with design systems

• Very familiar with front-end technologies and frameworks such as Javascript, HTML and React

• Can execute workshops and sprints design

• Completed training in Interaction Design, Industrial Design or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience with UX design for service and product development

• Experience with UX in all phases of product development

• Interest in Accessibility and the application of WCAG in design

• Affinity with education and educational target groups

• Skills: Planning, organizing, managing, collaborating and delivering under pressure

• Characteristics: Creative, conceptual and analytical skills, effective, result-oriented, convincing
